Quit Smoking The Natural Way

Thinking about quitting ?
Not sure if the patch, gum or prescriptions are for you?
I found natural supplements that allowed me to stop smoking with a near
comfortable "quitting" experience. That's not to say that I didn't
have some difficult moments, I did for sure. This time I had more emotional
stabilty than when I had quit before. And that is what has made the difference !!

If you want to stop smoking, if you are tired of feeling guilty because you expose
your children and loved ones to 2nd hand smoke....If you want to quit without adding
more chemicals and drugs into your body.....If you are interested in what supplements,
and techniques helped me give cigarettes a kick in the butt.....
Please,
 allow me to help !

What Supplements I used

Since you have come this far, it's obvious you are serious about becoming a non-smoker.

Having won the debate with yourself now is the time to decide on a quit date.
Make sure it is no sooner than 2 weeks from today.
During this time it is imperative that you cut back on how many cigarettes you smoke a day.
It also allows you to become familiar with those times that will be most difficult.
It's time to develop strategies and contact support people to help you through those
difficult minutes.

Make rules for yourself such as

No smoking within 45 minutes of waking up
No more smoking in the house
No more smoking in the car
No more smoking right after eating (wait 20-30 minutes)
No more smoking while on the phone

These are the Natural Supplements I found to support me emotionally, as well as
physically during the first months of being a non-smoker:

Nutri-Calm

I can't say enough about the Nutri-Calm.
It is an Anti-stress Vitamin/Mineral supplement loaded with vitamin B's
to help support the nervous system.
I took this during the 2 weeks leading up to my quit date.
The recommendation on the bottle is 1 tablet with a meal three times
daily. I actually doubled that amount once I had quit, taking 6-8 tabs a
day for about 2-3 weeks during the initial withdrawl period.
After I felt confidant and not so
stressed and emotionally troubled, I was able to cut back to 3 a day.

Tobacco Detox
a natural homeopathic medicine for relief of symptoms related to
withdrawal from tobacco use, including nausea, cough and nervous
tension. It may help aid detoxification.
The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets (or 10-15 drops of the liquid)
dissolved in the mouth every 1-2 hours.
I used the tablets and found that the above recommendations were
sufficient.
After the initial withdrawl I was able to cut that back to about 4 tablets

a day or on an as needed basis gradually until I no longer needed them.

Lobelia
This is a commonly referred to as "Indian Tobacco" and has nicotine like
properties.
The calming affect helps to take the edge off. It also may help open the bronchials aiding in better breathing and elimination of phlegm.
Just remember to start with a lower dose and gradually work your way up as needed.
I understand too much lobelia can cause severe nausea and an extremely relaxed state that may resemble a coma. If you have questions while taking this, or any Nature's Sunshine products, please
e-mail me and I will be glad to provide support.

Lobelia Liquid Essence is an available alternative to the Capsules, just remember to start with only 1 or 2 drop sublingually. Do not take more than 3 doses orally daily.
The liquid essence can also be added to a warm bath to assist relaxation.

Anytime you are cleansing the body and detoxing it is vital that you provide your body with plenty of Antioxidants to scavenge out those
free radicals and support the immune system while your body is getting rid of the built up toxins, such as tar, carbon monoxide, arsenic, just to name a few.

Jus and Vitamin C 1000 mg time released  are the AnitOxididants I used to help support my body's detoxification processes

Benefits of taking  JUS during your smoking cessation period are endless. It helps fight the inflammation caused by your body releasing all those toxins.
